Monica Breidenbach
Received her training in 2006 with the internationally recognized STOTT PILATES
® in Oxford. She has instructed over 200 classes and one-to-one sessions ranging from the beginning practitioner to very advanced individuals.  Her training encompasses advanced matwork and reformer as well as small equipment which is occasionally incorporated to intensify the exercises or support medical conditions. Her passion is helping clients gain better awareness of their body while improving their strength, flexibility and core stability. 


In 2008 she decided to start her own small business and provide local classes to village residents who desired the convenience of walking to their class.  Through her experience she also learned from clients that they prefer smaller classes that allow for personal attention from the instructor versus the large classes in some studios and gyms.  In addition she wanted to get back to the root of the Pilates method which incorporated working closely with Physio's and Osteopaths to help clients overcome physical limitations or injuries.

Monica's background in the exercise and rehabilitation field began in 1996 while enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she worked in Physio Therapy for both inpatient and outpatient facilities.  Throughout her four years she treated thousands of patients with various injuries, ranging from knee surgeries and hip replacements to the complete rehabilitation of individuals who had suffered from car accidents or amputations.  Her experience includes exercise training with weights to more specialized instruction such as gait training in parallel bars.  While working in Physio Therapy she gained an appreciation for exercise and rehabilitation and how beneficial it can be to an individual and their daily living.  Although her expertise was in treatment and wound therapy, she found instructing health and fitness programs to be most rewarding.

Monica is a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) and holds an Instructor Level 2 qualification.
